The Majella Cabernet Sauvignon is one of my favourites from Coonawarra. I was happy to be able to finally visit their cellar door and I wasn't disappointed. The tasting is free and extremely generous. All the wines on the list were available for sample. Harry was very enthusiastic and full of information about the wines we were tasting. From the tasting, I discovered that in addition to their Cab Sav, I can now add their Shiraz and Merlot to the list!

Outstanding Cellar Door …. This is a lovely Winery with a superb collection of wines .. the wine collection is both broad in options with varying grape varietals plus of a high quality and great pricing ! it’s a delightful family run company .. A “do not miss” if you are visiting Coonawarra ..

This place can only be described as the jewel in the crown of Coonawarra. Family owned , medium sized grower and producer with some outstanding assortment of gear. Their sparkling red is absolutely top notch and their Cab Sav’s i think are absolute peaches of perfection.

A family owned winery where we were greeted with a huge smile by the lovely Lisa. Her passion, knowledge and storytelling was contagious and before we knew it, it felt like we’d known her for years. When we asked where the winery was located instead of telling us, she opened the door and showed us through. The fruit forward wines are of the highest quality and the sparkling Shiraz is absolutely to die for (coming from someone who earlier today said “I just don’t enjoy sparkling wines”). I can’t say enough good things about this winery and the best way to understand this review is to go have a look for yourself. Anyone travelling through the Coonawarra take 30 minutes to go have a chat to Lisa and taste...

2022: I think they have the best Cabernet Sauvignon in the area but don't underestimate their shiraz, it is generously full bodied wine and top it with super friendly hospitality. If you are also interested in budget but high quality range wine they have couple of superb options.

2025: Google won’t let me post a second review, so I’m updating my original from three years ago. I came back recently, and their wine is still perfect—Cabernet Sauvignon remains the best in the area. This time, I also tried their eau de vie and it was lovely - so smooth! Friendly hospitality and great value options make this place...

Hi team at Magella.just had to connect. We had the privilege of visiting cellar door when first open.small cellar door.We were wowed by the quality. You guys just grew and grew.We visited whenever we we could. Always purchased wine..One of our recent delights was a 2020 Shiraz...AMAZING is not enough. Just want more.Please do you have any of this vintage left.Each year we tried one.
