Awesome XC/Trail singletrack here at Awaba. Nicely maintained trail with markers that indicate what trial loop is kid friendly, beginner, intermediate and pro. All this is colour coded do I won't get too much into the detail on it, if you get confused what colour means what, just ask a local or rider there and they'll happily help you out. This trail is a nice flowy trail, not to demanding in terms of technical skill but endurance and stamina is a bonus due to this being more XC/Trail oriented and it having climbs all over the trail. Good descents, nice features like rock gardens, roots as well as berms and "an oversized pump track." Once you get there you'll understand. Be sure to pack enough water and one bottle may not be enough since the full trail is 12km. A hydration pack is something I would recommend if not bring a couple of filled up water bottles. Toilets are as you expect, pretty mediocre since there is no running water or plumbing so be sure to take a deep breath when doing a number 1 or 2. Bring hear and tools is a must on every ride and here as well, a spare inner tube would give good peace of mind and a pump is necessary. As for bike choice, Hardtails would be great here in fact I think it would shine for the first 3km but some rear shock absorption for the more bumpy descents and terrain would be helpful but not necessary as a Hardtail would do great on this trail. The trail is also a loop that goes around the car park so if you get lost, just keep moving forward and you'll eventually arrive back in the car park. Should you feel the need to cut your ride short and head back to the car for a breather, there are numerous short cuts back to the car park for the first 4/5km. Further into the trail your best bet is to do the 8km loop rather than the full 12km loop.

The Awaba XC loop is amazing... riding thru the rainforest and ancient trees....I loved it...the dh trail was amazing but to gnarly for my skill level... incredible giant rock garden..just be careful in the toilet.. A wasp flew out as I was dropping the kids off and gave me one hell of a fright

Great bike park. Well signposted. Great for all skill sets. From double black downhill to XC and a great pump truck. Plenty of well signed A and B lines. Biraban into Polly was well worth the climb 🤙🏼

This fantastic bike park has forested trails for everyone. They are well kept and well signposted with a comprehensive map. There is a fun , well built xc trail with a kids loop. Also a development trail , a skills and jump section, a couple of awesome flow trails as well as a proper, gnarly dh trail to test any rider. Plenty of parking and toilets with nearby camping areas in the Watagans. Constant upgrades and new trails make this park one of the best in NSW....

Haven't been MTB riding for months due to the rain. Glenrock soooo soggy. Came to Awaba mid afternoon by myself for for first time. Really impressed!! The map information, well marked trails, toilets, the well kept trails, A lines and B lines clearly marked, the beautiful change in scenery from rainforest to open forest was beautiful. Only one other person on the track. Little bridges and ramps over tree trunks. Made me remember how fun MTB riding...
