we drove a little way to this big area with a few million trees and a few roads running through it. dunno why people r worried about global warming, i think we have lots of trees the road is bumpy. it has rocks on it. the light was soooo pretty tho. looks like one of those made up photoshop photo that people fake. like i was overdosing on prettiness. love how pretty it was. would be so cool for like photoshoots n stuff, we ate good food too. probably easy to get lost tho. dont get lost. the goannas might eat u. yum yum. dont get kidnapped. whe it get dark i can imagine u could get kidnapped. so jus dont be a kid and u wont get kidnapped. good for a fire.

If you can visit on a weekday - it's alot quieter. Beautiful forest areas, some with fern lined roads. Lots of beautiful bird calls. Mostly need an AWD for access as there's often lots of potholes and some are quite deep. Wouldn't recommend a sedan in most parts. If a road says unmaintained - it is only for the seasoned 4WD drivers. Must take own food, water & drinks. Take away your own rubbish. Remember insect repellant & be prepared for leeches in damp areas. Be sure to check your maps before entering the park as there may be no service in some areas.

I do NOT recommend this place at all! I went today with my family and halfway we ended up on very steep rocky, muddy, pot hole filled clay roads with huge rocks and logs everywhere extremely perilous and dangerous on the edge of a cliff, barely wide enough for one car yet we had to move to the side to let others pass several times dangerously close to the edge, there is no where to turn around so you have to drive up to 10km up this very dangerous road before you even have a chance to turn around! There's also barely any signage, you have no idea where you're going most of the time and there should DEFINITELY be warnings about steep roads, pot holes, fallen trees and boulders! I did see a lyre bird though...

This place is stunning. The nature walks are intimate and fascinating and the campsites are always well kept. There are long drop toilets - a bit smelly sometimes but what do you expect? There are bbqs and fire pits and ample camp spots available in each of the 2 campsites. If you love nature or want some spectacular photography opportunities then this is the place to go. Or if you need a break from civilization and technology, head out - there is no phone signal so the is plenty of peace. When we have stayed possums came up so close we were able to pat them and they came into our vestibule! We also patted the wallabies which was a real delight for both adults and...
