This drive has stunning views and various little stops along the way to Gallipoli Beach so you can take in the awesome views from the cliff top. Be warned though the road is very rough n rugged so do not attempt to do it in a 2wd vehicle as it is an 8k return journey. Parts of it are quite narrow with shrubs and trees so expect a few scratches and lowering tyres pressure is also advised. When you reach Gallipoli Beach it is amazing and hard to believe they actually got movie equipment there, to get down to the beach there is a long and rough track down a crevice which is quite steep too so wear sensible footwear

Very rough track to get to this beach. Definitely 4WD only - very rocky. Once you get there it is beautiful for sightseeing but not really much else to do. Steep climb on uneven and unstable rocky terrain that I do not recommend going down. If you are an Australian film buff then this was one of the shooting locations for the Peter Weir movie 🎬 "Gallipoli"

Finally got to visit the location of Peter Weir's classic Australian film "Gallipoli". Four kilometre 4WD track to get there from Farm Beach, then park and walk down the track to beach. You can also view beach from clifftops. When you get home watch the film again and you'll recognise all that you saw.

A little bit of the bitumen, about 4km along a dirt and rocky track, after the Anzac Memorial. Large sandy area for parking. A lovely spot to sit on the cliffs and imagine what our boys went through in WW1. We were lucky and had a pod of dolphins in the bay when we visited. Sat and watched them feed and chase fish for about 30 minutes, before they left. A...
