Gallipoli Beach — Attraction in Coulta

This drive has stunning views and various little stops along the way to Gallipoli Beach so you can take in the awesome views from the cliff top. Be warned though the road is very rough n rugged so do not attempt to do it in a 2wd vehicle as it is an 8k return journey. Parts of it are quite narrow with shrubs and trees so expect a few scratches and lowering tyres pressure is also advised. A little bit of the bitumen, about 4km along a dirt and rocky track, after the Anzac Memorial. Large sandy area for parking. A lovely spot to sit on the cliffs and imagine what our boys went through in WW1. We were lucky and had a pod of dolphins in the bay when we visited. Very rough track to get to this beach. Definitely 4WD only - very rocky.

Once you get there it is beautiful for sightseeing but not really much else to do. Steep climb on uneven and unstable rocky terrain that I do not recommend going down.
