Small single vineyard tasting room, great if you’re looking for the real thing away from the tours.

Passel isn’t well known (yet) as it’s new and doesn’t sell in stores, don’t let hold you back. Their wines are excellent and well worth a stop from the heavily beaten tourist trail. The place is less than a minute from Caves Road but isn’t well signposted from the main road: but it’s less than a minute along Ellenbrook Road.

The place doesn’t seem older than a two years, a beautiful small lake and an ascending hill of vines are a great backdrop.

There were four wines to taste and so whilst this isn’t the wisest selection the quality is outstanding. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a single vineyard which stands out in a class of its own.

Service was completely relaxed, no rushing or pressure.

I’m pretty sure the place is wheelchair accessible from memory, but it may be worth giving them a call first. They would definitely go...

The lady had a bit of an attitude. Not sure what it was about. I was there for a tasting. While she was serving the second half of the four wines, new customers arrived. She sort of dropped us and started serving the other couple. She offered the other couple a wine tasting with a pair of cheese for the same price as she offered us only the tasting. I asked her to have to pair cheese and she bluntly said "No, I have already served you". I said it is ok I will wait. I did wait. She served the other couple the wine and cheese. I again asked about the cheese and she said : "I said no!" I had the intention to buy a bottle and post a positive recommendation , but she completely changed the...

My sister was visiting from the UK so I booked us both in for a wine and chocolate pairing. My sister was taken back by this boutique winery and having traveled throughout Europe, she was pleasantly surprised at how elegant the wines tasted. The pairing is a really unique thing to do when visiting the Margaret River region, each chocolate is carefully selected and cleverly opens up the flavours of each wine. The surroundings are so beautiful and the staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I can highly recommend a visit and treating yourself to this wonderful tasting experience. Thank you for making our afternoon together...

The experience could be more guided, and it would be helpful if the advertisement clearly stated that the wine selection includes only red and white varieties—all of which are dry. This may be obvious to those who drink wine regularly, but for those who don’t, it’s not. If you’re after a stunning location and enjoy dry reds and whites, this place is for you. However, if you’re seeking sweet wines, this may not be the right fit. Chocolate & Wine pairing Bought a red balloon voucher: $50pp

Boutique winery that I visited the first time. The exclusive settings might make dome people uncomfortable I loved it. It's a dog friendly winery and a nice outdoor area. Wines were on a pricier end with reserves ranging from 75 for the chardonnay to 97 for a syrah. Tasting is $10 plus $10 for reserve tasting. Downer I bought a bottle of chardonnay for $43, and was still charged the reserve tasting. My partner was also charged the tasting fee. That left a sour taste...

A first visit to Passel Estate having been at the excellent Edwards wines next door. Very quiet and allowed for a relaxing tasting and a full meat and cheese board for lunch. I appreciate why vineyards introduced a tasting fee. And usually purchase everywhere we go. We didn't buy wine this time but I would have thought the $52 for the lunch would have qualified for (at least) one tasting fee waived. But to no avail.
