Pelion hut is probably the coldest of all the huts from my experience. With such a large dining area, the little gas burner struggles to heat the expansive space. It's also the darkest from what I recall.

One of the Overland Track stays, usually night 3 unless you hike up from the Arm River Track. Hikers often camp here to access Mt Ossa, Mt Pelion East or Mt Pelion West. A good camp base.

This hut has a large dining area plus rooms with bunks for your sleeping bag. The veranda is a lovely spot to sit to watch the setting sun off you are blessed with clear weather. Great view of Mt Oakleigh too. Lots of tent locations, but only a few...

The largest hut on the overland. Good hut with good facilities. Shared rooms so earplugs are a good idea. Great view and a great place to chat with other hikers. Wish i was there when Richard was passing through, he sounds...

The best hut on the Overland track with sweeping views across buttonholes moor to Mt Oakleigh. Huge surrounding veranda, separate bunk rooms and plenty of space for cooking/eating. Definitely the most comfortable stop...
