Loved it. The church is the most outstanding feature of this little community of approx 350 aboriginals. It was built by the missionaries in the 1800s and was taken over by the Catholic Church once the missionaries left. It remains an operational church. Inside the church is decorated with the beautiful local oyster shells. It must have taken a lot of hard work and dedication for all of that decoration to be completed. There is a 'bakery' and general store available also for a bite of lunch although don't expect to much in the way of choice. Stick to main roads if travelling on to middle lagoon ie back track abit as we made the mistake of following google maps down a locals only road and quickly learnt why. You'd really need to be a pretty experienced 4Wdriver to tackle to mud and muddy...
