Carmichael Falls — Attraction in Dargo

A smaller fall at the end of a vigorous walk down from Dinner Plate to the Precipice Creek. Look for directions in town - in warmer months you can drive close to the track start. Watch out for snakes - even on days with a scatter of snow. Walked with family on this trail, there wasn't snow on the ground when we hiked but there was some mud, a relatively easy trail with some stairs and elevation. Towards the end of the hike you walk by the stream and at the end you get a view of the falls from a bit of a distance as you can see in my photos. An enjoyable walk that incorporated some really lovely wildflowers. There are some muddy patches. You need to be rather nimble to tackle this walk as there are some undulating bits with very uneven ground. Very picturesque walk with burnt out eucalypts as well as bare white branches.
