Deepwater National Park is an absolute treasure for anyone who loves unspoiled nature. The park has gorgeous coastal scenery, peaceful bushland, and stunning beaches like Wreck Rock and Middle Rock. The tracks are sandy and definitely require a high-clearance 4WD, which adds to the adventure! We saw plenty of wildlife, including goannas, birds, and even turtle tracks on the beach. Campsites are basic but beautiful, with the sound of the ocean at night. Perfect place to disconnect and soak up Queensland’s...

awesome drive through a really pretty place amazing to see the intensity of the fires that went through engulfing everything in their paths and the work that has gone into cleaning up and widening of fire breaks. the rejuvenation is starting to show through and it will be so beautiful and lush green again. was really hot too well above 32 degrees one or 2 real rough spots on the road more so closer to Agnes Waters 4x4 is a necessity We did...

This park is a beautiful gem in a relatively untouched part of the world.

Accessible from either end by 4wd or 2wd from the southern end. There are plenty of options for camping, or a day trip exploring the diverse ecosystem in the park.

A great 4-wheel-drive destination with 3 great picnic/beach spots, flat rock, middle rock, and wreck rock (wreck rock being available on 2-wheel-drive cars), flat rock and wreck rock are easily accessible, with a 5 minute walk to get their, wheras the middle rock taking over 20 minutes just to get to the beach. I recommend either wearing shoes or going later/earlier in the day as the beach sand is literal molten lava.
