Truely original place to head to. Preferentially at the end of your travels along the Coral or Turquoise Coast when you no longer need your thongs. Like this you can attach your no longer needed (old) thongs to the shack construction as a way to finalise your travels. I would give the place a five star if the shack wasn't located that close to the water. Makes me fear it's environmental footprint (ironically) when storm would occur and add all these plastic thongs as debris to the ocean water :( Also, it is accesible by 2WD as long as you park at the top. Towards the bottom of the hill, thus closer to the sea, the sand is looser and might be difficult to get out with 2WD. OK access for 4WD though.

Beautiful and quiet beach, calm sea with no waves, there are many shells on the beach, I saw a bird swimming like a frog, and also saw a small shark (guess it), the water is not deep and is suitable for children to play in the water

awesome fun adding our end of life thongs, and great location to walk along the beach and the water was beautiful and warm.

A shrine to the almighty thong!

The Thong Shack is found on an isolated beach 3 kms south of Denham nearby Denham Lookout. Visitors to the beach have donated their thongs with holiday inscriptions that decorate the beach shack! Initially intended for the footwear thong, you may also spot a lacey number!

A very Instagramable hotspot to visit when in Denham. Take a stroll along the beach, and why not add your own thong/flip-flop to the collection, not forgetting to write a note about your stay in Shark Bay.

Denham Lookout is located next to the Thong Shack with a car park that provides a great view of the beach and north to...
