Spent Australia Day 2019 weekend at Deep Lake. Found the cost of $10 per person per night rather expensive considering you then had to purchase tokens for hit water in showers at $2 each. The token lasts for 5 minutes. Am pretty sure that not everyone paid fees as no one came to check. Facilities are ok flushing toilets and 2 showers (1 men’s, 1womens). Bollards had been put in along with “no camping “ signs however people camped there regardless. Pretty disappointed with the treatment from the young girl in the takeaway food shop, she was rude. Was told no card payment for camp fees, however sister arrived approximately 1 hour later and was able to use card to pay. Town people were more than friendly.
