Probably the most visited CP in the area because of its proximity to the town and near a main road. I have noticed in recent months the number of people visiting is increasing and thus impacting on the park. Further to this if you are considering walking/hiking and getting close to nature and away from people, then either do it early in the morning, during the week or avoid the middle track. The Telford Scrub Conservation Park was an attraction we wanted to visit. The park itself is full of life and the fauna was lush.
Our timing was unfortunate as we wanted to experience the board walk but it was closed on arrival possibly due to unsafe reasons.
Word of caution for those visiting is to keep an eye out on the trees above you as there were a couple of trees that had fallen down whilst we were there.
