Percival Hill Park is a hidden gem in Canberra that exceeded all my expectations, earning a well-deserved 5-star review. From the moment you step into the park, you are greeted by an expanse of natural beauty that is both serene and invigorating. The walking trails are well-maintained and offer a variety of difficulty levels, making them accessible for both casual walkers and avid hikers. The paths wind through lush greenery, and the panoramic views from the hilltop are simply breathtaking. On a clear day, you can see for miles, and it's the perfect spot for a moment of quiet reflection or a picturesque picnic. Wildlife enthusiasts will be delighted by the abundant birdlife and occasional sightings of local fauna. It's a fantastic place to bring a camera and capture the beauty of nature up close. The park also features several benches and rest areas, thoughtfully placed to allow visitors to take in the surroundings at their own pace. For families, Percival Hill Park is a dream. The open spaces are perfect for kids to run around and explore, and the park is both dog-friendly and equipped with clean facilities, ensuring a comfortable visit for everyone. The park’s layout ensures that even on busier days, it never feels overcrowded, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. In conclusion, Percival Hill Park offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and outdoor activities. Whether you're looking for a leisurely walk, a challenging hike, or a place to enjoy a day out with family, this park has something for everyone. It's a true sanctuary in the heart of Canberra.

Walked up here the other day to catch the sunset and was not disappointed. There is a few kangaroos around to look at as you walk around. I highly recommend both sunrise and sunset from up the top as the views of the sun from behind the distant mountains is wonderful.

The place is great for walk, there will be some kangaroos welcoming you by the sides. Great view from the top and I enjoyed walking up to this from the Guangalin Pond and returning back. Any water bottle, coffee cups take it with you no bins on the top or on the way.

As a place to get away from the urban sprawl and sheer ugliness of Crace, "Mount:"Percival, as we knew it, easily gets 5 stars. A very easy walk from any direction, and despite this, rises well above the surrounding roads, very quickly. Glorious views, especially to the West, reward the intrepid explorer. Plenty of wildlife, both native an introduced, in the area, and yet its only a few hundred meters from "The Roundabout". Grab a thermos and a snack, make the effort. You will be...
