The staff reallt make this place what it is. We popped in on a day off work and after reading the current reviews I already knew it wouldn't be big.

I suprised to find we were only being joined by around 10 other people on a weekend.

When we arrived we had already missed the first show so were told when the next one would be started and was shown around the park by a lovely lady (I forgot to get her name) she was really polite and very informative.

Omce we were shown around we were left to do our own thing until the snake demonstration was on. This show was really good, he really knew his stuff and did actually share some information we haven't heard before.

Next was the crocodile show which again was amazing. You do feel really close but safe at the same time. Again loads of information shared!

The kangaroo and emu enclosure is really fun to be so up close and they're all really friendly and happy to come for a picture and to be fed.

The koala enclosure is on the bland side. I know koalas don't do much but would be nice to see a bit more of a naturally realistic enclousre for them.

Overall its a nice little day out, you probably wouldn't need to go more than once but again the staff make it a nice...

Can't recommend this place enough, we had a great time meeting all the reptiles as well as the koalas, kangaroos and meerkats. I wasn't overly fond of reptiles until I came here and saw just how brilliant they really are, the staff were amazing, Ashleigh walked round the park with us giving is amazing facts and information on each of the reptiles. The komodo dragon is amazing! We were lucky enough to see him come to the front of his enclousure.

It was feeding day on the day we went and the staff let us know they would be feeding the lizards so I was able to get some amazing  photos of them.

All the staff were great, friendly and knowledgeable. Enclosures are well maintained and easy to view the animals, everything is well labelled and one thing I thought was a great idea was that any enclousures or tanks that were empty had a notice telling you that they were empty so you weren't looking around trying to find something that wasn't there! Wish every where done this!

I have followed Snakes Downunder for many years on social media. Seeing the new facilities upgraded and the new animals introduced made it a must visit for when we were next in the area. We booked a Meerkat feeding for myself and my partner and it was the most amazing experience, they are such intelligent and inquisitive creatures. The young volunteer that was with us during the experience was knowledgeable and engaging. Every animal around the park was viewable and it was noticed by others that even though it was incredibly hot weather you could still find the animals in each enclouse (they were not asleep or hiding)! Our kids have been multiple times with their grandparents throughout the year and have come home to rave about the animal show and viewings (especially the Crocs & snake). Plenty of new shade areas with tables would make it a great family day out. The enclosures are well maintained and informative. A core memory with the Meerkats has definitely...

Very nice and informed staff. Great experience. The staff is very friendly end knowledgeable. The animals are well looked after and all rescued animals that couldn't be reintroduced to the wild. The owners are passionate and using this facility to teach people more about animals and reptiles. The snake and crocodile shows are very interesting and we enjoyed it a lot. A must see for all pleople visiting this area. We had a chance to interact with kuala's and learn more about them. We also fed the kangaroos and got to learn more bout them. There is a lot of reptiles and dragons to see and nice spots for a picnic or lunch that you can bring with or purchase from the shop. There is also some soveneirs to buy and support the zoo as it is a private zoo and need to raise funds for themselves to keep doing there work.

This is a great little zoo with a variety of Australian native animals and reptiles. They also have a komodo dragon and meerkats. We watched the keepers give a talk about the snakes and we watched the crocodiles being fed. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to hold and handle a carpet python and touch an 18 month old fresh water crocodile. You can purchase food to feed to the kangaroos that are in a wide open, grassy area. We visited on a Monday and there were only about 30 people visiting at the same time, this made the experience more personal and it was great to see the animals without the crowds. It's easy to get around - wheelchair friendly and compact. Sausage rolls, pies, snacks and drinks are available for purchase. It's the perfect place to take the kids or overseas guests.
