Country Life Farm in Dunsborough is an outstanding family-friendly petting zoo perfect for kids. It offers a wonderful hands-on experience where children can hand-feed a variety of friendly farm animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, alpacas, goats, sheep, donkeys, ponies, and cows. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere for families.

The farm includes a huge indoor playground with slides, and a ball pit, providing endless fun for kids regardless of the weather. Additional attractions include unlimited merry-go-round rides, a dodgem bumper car ride, boat rides, and outdoor play equipment, all included in the entry fee. Free tea and coffee for parents with plenty of shaded seating make it convenient and comfortable for the whole family.

Visitors praise the clean, spacious, and well-maintained environment, as well as the genuine care for animals, making it a safe and educational place for children to learn about farm life while having fun. Many families return multiple times, highlighting the farm as a memorable and magical destination for kids of all ages. Do encourage to sanitise and wash your hands often as children can often place their hands in their mouths.

In summary, Country Life Farm is a must-visit for families seeking a friendly, interactive, and fun farm petting zoo experience that keeps children entertained and engaged...

Spend $70 ($24 x 2 adults and $22 x 1 toddler, baby was free). Each attraction was run down and in poor condition. Rabbit and Guinea pig enclosure was dirty and fill of flies. They were afraid of us and no staff were available to ask for help to hold them, therefore it was difficult to actually sit and pick them up - as advertised. The Indoor play centre smelt from lack of ventilation, was unclean and filled with second hand old toys. We saw spiders almost immediately, and there were flies, hair and dirt in the play equipment. The music was also not age appropriate. Most of the fences outside were in poor condition. The pedal boat was taking in water as we rode it and was also in poor condition. Overall significantly over priced considering the condition of the equipment and pens. Very run down and not attractive. Dealing with the animals is not as hands on as they advertise. Disappointing as we were recommended this place twice and saw great reviews online. Honestly the positive reviews and the experience do not add up. This experience left us feeling upset and disappointed. It is trying to do too much and if it just focused on the animals, it would be great. To end on a positive note, the Canadian man we deal with was lovely and friendly and trough in another bucket of carrots. I don't want another family spending their money and feeling upset...

Country Life Farm was one of the best family stops on our road trip! It’s a fantastic hands-on experience for young kids and a great option for a sunny or rainy day. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the kids were buzzing with excitement.

There are loads of animals to see and feed—rabbits, goats, alpacas, ponies, kangaroos, deer, and even emus. The highlight for my children was bottle-feeding the baby animals and getting up close with some of the fluffier residents. Everything is set up for interaction and learning.

Apart from the animals, there’s a small merry-go-round, bouncing castles, and paddle boats that are perfect for younger kids. There’s also a covered area for picnics and snacks, plus shaded spots for resting between activities.

It’s clear the place is family-run and lovingly maintained. It wasn’t crowded when we went, which made it even more enjoyable. Don’t forget to bring your camera—there are plenty of photo ops!

Highly recommend for families with toddlers and primary school-aged children. A wholesome, fun-filled experience that’s well worth...

After having to sacrifice our first born child for the funds to afford this place. We were left really disappointed. We were sold on this idea that it was actually a fun and adventurous place with many things to do and see from the brochure that we found at a visitor centre. Boy, were we wrong. We spent about 30 min here.... and that was pushing it. There was promise of a plethora of animals. We already seen all the animals they had to offer out the front of the property. The only things left after seeing the farm animals out the front and paying a small fortune for - is their 10 million Guinea pigs and rabbits and a talking bird. That is pretty much it inside. No kangaroos (apparently wild) no geese, 1 cow, 2 donkeys and a few run down plastic cubby houses from kmart that were covered in spiders. If you want to see 48372937 Guinea pigs in a very active breeding program, that you can't touch or feed for $75. This is the place for you. If you want to have a tetanus shot for lunch. This is also the place for you. If not, take your money a few minutes down the road to the Sunflower animal farm.
