Funny story, I accidentally did the whole hike as we reached the first waterhole fairly quickly and I didn’t realize we had completed it - there’s a sign at the entrance but not in the diff sections 🤦‍♀️I probably wouldn’t have attempted the second section had I realised, it was quite difficult getting over that big boulder in the first pool and then it got progressively harder. Not harder physically although there is a lot of climbing over rocks, more mentally as I am scared of heights. One section you are climbing a rock face with just your bare hands and a narrow ledge.

I was happy I accomplished it - it took us 2.5 hours return (not the 4 hours on the sign)We went at 7am (very shady) and didn’t see anyone until the way back.

Wear decent shoes that can go in water and have good grip. If you struggle with balance, you will find this hike difficult.

There is a deep water crossing into the gorge - it was only at .5 in June. Parking was limited, get...

The waterfall at the end provides a picturesque reward, though timing is crucial – starting earlier in the day would have mitigated the real danger of walking back in the dark. Despite a bit of trauma, the pride in overcoming the challenges lingers, making it a memorable and...

We parked before the large creek crossing and walked through the water to avoid the mud. About 1k to the start of the walk and a fairly easy stroll to the midway pool. Tough climb up after that and had to wade through the pool to get there so will get wet. Definitely not for everyone.

Walk then turned into climbing boulders and almost cliff faces to get to the top pool. Took about 20 mins both sides of the midway pool so 40 total up. Pool was pretty nice but walk made it worth...
