Beautiful mountain. Climbed anvil peak. ONLY FOR EXPERIENCED CLIMBERS. Cliffs at the top are very hard to climb. Rockclimbing experience necessary. If looking for something easier, do the climb up the other side of the mountain where views are stunning too. Need a 4wd to get to the start or park on main road and walk in.

Most people have not been leaving rubbish behind thats good to see. Made our way to the top was a little hard in a couple of places made it back with injury. Awesome view at the top, might do it again someday.

Park near the gate along the barbed wire fence. Follow the track to the windmill then bush bash until you find the climbable section on the opposite slide of the peak to the road. Once you find the pink arrows follow to the summit. Challenging climb in parts, but easy for those with moderate fitness. Well...
