You don't have to be a beer lover to go here, so many more things to see, and you won't be disappointed. Could not fault this place from minute we arrived with a very warm (n slightly hurried welcome from Frosty who was keen to get us inside as The tour booked in had just started with Neil/owners presentation) what a lovely welcome from Neil who introduced himself to each of us and shaking hands even with the 17 n 12 year old ... Neil had a great sense of humour involved everyone including the kids getting them to join in helping him, whilst also giving prizes for there help, and also one Viet Vet (who answered a question correctly and was there with about 4 others you won a prize and left it for Neil to give to my, 17yr old grandson, he was stoked, and all he wanted to do was find you and thank you, so if you ever read this you made one young man's day, and a big thank you.) To Neil and Frosty was a pleasure meeting you both, I never expected such a huge n absolutely amazing well kept Man Shed + function centre I think any man would be proud to have, ( what a great place for a function, far from the norm.) A credit to you. Keep up the good work the great personality and anyone who hasn't yet been a must do to put on...
Read moreBloke went out of his way to open for only for 4 tourists and after hours. He and his wife drove back to Echuca from Colac just to share his passion and love for a collection of a to z Australian history. From Automobiles to Zany figurines. This is a must see, MAKE the time. The beers were never dry, always ice cold and a great range to choose from. Apple cider to zebra he has it. Every square centimetre from floor to roof there is something to see. Focus points for myself was the original CUB wooden horse drawn cart, fully restored by CUB horse drawn cart gifted to him for his passion and pure joy of doing the museum. And 1 of only 3 of the very first beer can ever made. Nice hall for functions like Weddings and such. And finally the most important part, the man makes the tour so engaging and entertaining with great humour and a magic to his personality that would make even a moldy piece of cabbage seem like it is the best meal you have ever had in your...
Read moreIt's definitely worth a visit, well exceeded what I thought it would be. Greeted by a lovely guy who was one of the tour guides, he was so welcoming and told me where everything was, offered me a drink from the bar to walk around with while I looked around and told me there would be a tour on in 5 mins. He showed me some amazing creations made out of beer cans. Met the owner Neil at the bar at the entrance he was very personable and welcoming.
Went into a monster size shed and was blown away at the variety of memorabilia, definitely a trip down memory lane with some things.
Listen to Neil talk about some items there it was so interesting and just when I thought I'd seen it all I realised that was only half of what was there, there was a huge hall out the back and more outside, such great displays.
I would definitely recommend you visit here. You will not be disappointed.
Well done, Neil and staff, on a...
