It's half an hour drive from Moss Vale to Fitzroy Falls and Belmore Falls along Nowra Road. Turn north onto Myra Vale Road just east of Fitzroy Falls.

From Nowra, take the Princes Highway to the Southern Highlands via Kangaroo Valley.

From Wollongong it’s about an hour to Fitzroy Falls and Belmore Falls along the Illawarra Highway. Turn south at Robertson onto Belmore Falls Road.

Sites in the eastern and southern part of the park are accessible via the Princes Highway.

Went to nearby yalwal and the four wheel drive tracks that crisscross the area. Fantastic tracks with plenty to explore, no facilities of any sort you bring whatever you need with you.

There is phone reception however it can be patchy in some spots.

The area is decently clean of rubbish which was a welcome surprise.

If you are looking for a day away to go and explore Bush with your four wheel drive then yalwal is the place, for beginners I highly recommend mint bush track as it has some challenging parts but nothing that will...

We were in Morton NP via the Shoalhaven River, out of Tallowa Dam. We love this naturally rugged area, and love to explore. Be aware of snakes, especially in the summer. But remember, they're not hunting you, they just want to get away to safety. Please don't feed the wild creatures, as this is creating behaviour problems, especially from possums and goannas. Expect a visit from them if you're camping 🏕️ or picnicing. Beware, don't leave food unattended. Great place to vist....

Great national Park, it's a bit off the beaten track which means there aren't as many people around and you largely get the place to yourself and nature. We stayed at the campground for a few nights which has a good drop toilet and is a stone's throw from the Clyde river where can go for a lovely swim to cool off. Plenty of wildlife with lots of birds, insects and marsupials, we even had a big Goanna walk through our site and then run up a tree.

Absolutely stunning area of national park. The gorge is just amazingly beautiful, and the well-maintained trails running either side give great views down to the bottom, back to the falls, and track through fascinating variations in foliage as you climb higher and lower. In Spring there are lots of wildflowers out, and various fauna is easy to see too if you keep an eye out and walk quietly - I spotted an echidna as well as several Lyre birds.
