The Otway Fly Treetop Adventure is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike. Located in the lush Otway Ranges, it offers an unforgettable experience of exploring the rainforest from above.

The main attraction is the Treetop Walk, a 600-meter-long steel walkway suspended up to 30 meters above the forest floor. Walking among the treetops gives you a unique perspective of the towering trees, ferns, and vibrant greenery below. The highlight is the spiral tower, which takes you even higher for stunning views of the surrounding rainforest. It’s a gentle walk, suitable for all ages, and truly immerses you in the beauty of nature.

For those seeking more adventure, the Zipline Tour is an exhilarating option. You’ll soar through the forest canopy on a series of ziplines, guided by friendly and knowledgeable staff who ensure safety while sharing fascinating facts about the rainforest. The zipline experience is thrilling and fun, making it a hit with both kids and adults.

The facilities are well-maintained, with a café offering light meals and refreshments. There’s also a gift shop with souvenirs to remember your visit. The staff are welcoming and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Whether you’re looking for a peaceful walk among the treetops or an adrenaline-pumping zipline adventure, the Otway Fly Treetop Adventure is a fantastic way to connect with nature and create lasting memories. It’s an experience not to be missed in the Otways!

Ps 2 star because just experienced nothing like this before anywhere..

Visited on 26th Dec 2024 at 12:40 pm and encountered unprofessional service from a staff member. Despite thanking her twice after paying, she completely ignored me and instead gave a cold, intimidating glare. Her attitude was unfriendly and made the experience uncomfortable. Such behavior is disappointing and doesn’t reflect the warm and welcoming atmosphere expected...

An amazing one day experience from Melbourne

About the place: Otway Fly Treetop Adventures offer an enjoyable and slightly thrilling walk atop massive native rainforests of Victoria. Depending on your choice it can be a walk 30Mtrs above the ground level or a zipline tour across the forest.

How to get there: While there are some day tour operators, the best commute is via the picturesque Aussie highways in a car.

It is about 2.5 to 3.5 hours drive from Melbourne depending on traffic conditions.

Visiting: Rainforests are wet almost every alternative day so while summer time offers a warm weather to walk winters might be a bit too cold. Last entry allowed is at 4PM.

Parking: Normal parking is about 500mtrs from the main entrance, and disabled parking is closer to the entrance. Parking is free.

Activites and Stuff to do: While it might seem a simple walkway, in fact there are multiple attractions: The 1.2km long walk including the stretch atop about 30m high steel bridges Bird watching Dragon statue and eggs spotting for kids Zip lining across the forest Getting atop the top most tower of the steel bridge walkways Experiencing the wobbly, but completely safe cantilever Sitting and enjoying the relaxing glittering water within the range Enjoying a hot drink or a cool one at the Cafe at the entrance Kids play area at the entrance should keep the little ones interested

Points to note: There are regular (twice an hour) shuttles for those with limited mobility to traverse. However the last shuttle is at 4pm. So if you have anyone with one way endurance, ensure you get back to the shuttle point before 4pm.

Allow 2 hours to enjoy the visit completely.

Ensure to carry water as there's no drinking water available along the walkway.

Pre-book zipline tours on busy days.

Stay to the walkways if you want to avoid snakes.

Must visit and highly...

Firstly, I was refused because I arrived 1/4 hour early as requested but I was not 1/4 hour early at the counter. Yes, I didn't know that the way between the parking and the ticket office was so long. When I arrived, the participants were still receiving the explanations but I was not able to participate because they confused me by telling me that for security reasons we could no longer enter the room once the participants were installed 😂 (completely false, I had the opposite proof later) I had driven 2 hours, they didn't care and didn't want to hear anything. I was finally still able to get a “gesture” from the manager who told me to come back within 3 months. I came back so as not to lose my money. What a disappointment, you do 7 zip lines where you have to wait 1/4 hour on each platform. I had already made several trips like this to other countries where we are alone. There, you are accompanied by guides throughout and you have to wait each time for everyone to pass. Then apparently there is a “spiral tour” and a “tree walk” included in the price but I have no idea since we were completely abandoned after the zip lines when the guides broke off in a cart without any explanation. And also you cannot bring your phone, so if you want a picture it’s only if you pay the pictures that THEY took. And you have go pro’s on your helmet but they don’t explain why and you don’t see any videos 😂 Conclusion, don't go there unless you want to be poorly received and spend an astronomical sum to be in a...

I will definitely recommend this place. The air is so fresh to breathe, the greenery, the raindrops and the birds chirping its just a place like heaven; very mesmerising for the soul. If you are a nature lover this is a place for you. The reception staff Gauranga was very welcoming and friendly who offered us the buggy drop off and pick up for the nature walk(it was raining the whole time). Clare was very rude and unprofessional throughout my experience thats the only reason I would give 4 stars for this place. She was least interested in her job and treated us like she was doing us a favour by being at the desk. (She didn’t send the buggy while we called on the number and she was very rude while assisting us during the tree surfing trial and was not happy with Gauranga assisting 4 people on the buggy even when it was safe to do so) I tried the tea surfing and would really appreciate the patience and guidance from Libby. She was so helpful 🥰 Tree surfing was good and the whole experience was well supported. The cafe here was less than average I would say. It’s worth watching the view outside the window at the cafe on the premise(could see heaps of different birds and flora and fauna) Food is below average:-I got the sweet chilli wrap which was too salty, the fruit salad was good, chai latte was nothing out of the ordinary. Highly recommend the walk .You would love the freshness in the air and nature at its best 🥰
