“Fingal Head Beach is a hidden gem on the Tweed Coast. The natural beauty here is breathtaking, with soft white sand, crystal-clear water, and the iconic Fingal Head Lighthouse overlooking the area.

What makes this beach special is how quiet and peaceful it is compared to the busier Gold Coast spots. It’s perfect for a relaxing day out, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the views. The walk up to the lighthouse is easy and offers stunning panoramas, especially at sunrise or sunset.

The volcanic rock formations known as the Giant’s Causeway are also a highlight – great for photos and exploring. Just a heads-up, though: there aren’t many facilities nearby, so bring everything you’ll need.

Overall, it’s a slice of paradise for those who love nature and...

Fingal Head Beach, located on the Tweed Coast near the Queensland border, is a stunning, tranquil spot with golden sands and gentle waves perfect for swimming and relaxing. The picturesque setting features lush vegetation and the iconic Fingal Head Lighthouse, offering beautiful coastal views and scenic walks. Visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing, snorkeling, and picnicking, though there are no on-site food options, so bring your own supplies. The beach is clean, family-friendly, and ideal for a peaceful day out. For a serene escape with great natural beauty, Fingal Head Beach is definitely...

Great spot here! There are flags and lifeguards here for your safety. There is a great little cafe here. There also seems to be some accommodation here. Need to head to the lifesavers club house on Google to find the beach, otherwise it may take you through to parts with no access to the beach. The carpark is small here so you need to come here really early or late to find parking on peak days. There is a park and a grassy area for picnics but there is not a lot of view of the beach due to the foliage. But the grassy area is nice for a get together of about 60-80...

Gorgeous. We have had amazing weather. It's June and we are wearing summer clothes and its warm enough to swim. People are fishing, surfing, going for walks. What's fantastic is its not very populated so it's very relaxing and pristine. I have fallen in love with this place. We stayed at the camping ground right on the beach. I highly recommend this place. We based ourselves here for the weekend. Enjoyed trips to tropical fruit world, farm & co, Kingscliff, potgeter and husk Distillery. Its an excellent area to base yourself for a weekend.

A beautiful location. Explore the walk along the headland, watch whales jump and dolphins swimming in the waves. There is a small lighthouse and a lovely shady walk through the bush. Stop at The Sheoak Shak art gallery cafe on your way in for a cuppa. There's also a small cafe under the surf club at the beach. There's also a service station at Chinderah.
