A feral-proof fenced area with old mallee woodlands in a semi-arid landscape. A safe haven for animals and plants alike not to mention those thriving outside the fenced area. Bilbies and numbats, wombats and potoroos, emus and kangaroos, echidnas and possums, the list could go on for mammals. The bird diversity is wonderful with easy spotting during the day and night. Reptiles are a plenty with geckos, lizards and snakes a plenty. This was an opportunity that I'll never forget and the people at Yookamurra deserve a medal for...
