Interesting place. We try to do a circuit walk to the lookout but it is a hit and miss. Sometimes the aggressive roos, other times flooded paths stops us. There are small experimental areas protected by wire netting. Inside those there is thick vegetation of shrubs and young trees while outside is sparse grassland, dry and ready to burn in summer. Read moreThe Sheoak Walk is an easy uphill stroll of about 800m to an area with a stone table and seats. We visited 19 October and the wildflowers were stunning... a profusion of blue dianella, squills and waxlip orchids, with yellow bulbine lilies, Guinea flower, goodenia and rabbit's ear orchids, salmon sun orchids and many and varied spider orchids .
