Interesting place. We try to do a circuit walk to the lookout but it is a hit and miss. Sometimes the aggressive roos, other times flooded paths stops us. There are small experimental areas protected by wire netting. Inside those there is thick vegetation of shrubs and young trees while outside is sparse grassland, dry and ready to burn in summer. This just proves that letting an area to their own devices is not conservation, it is negligence that will transform the whole area into wasteland within a decade or two.

The Sheoak Walk is an easy uphill stroll of about 800m to an area with a stone table and seats. We visited 19 October and the wildflowers were stunning... a profusion of blue dianella, squills and waxlip orchids, with yellow bulbine lilies, Guinea flower, goodenia and rabbit's ear orchids, salmon sun orchids and many and varied spider orchids . So much to see we easily spent a couple of hours here. There are no toilets here. Park at the end of the road and hop over the fence to begin walk.

Nice place for a quiet nature hike or stroll. But please don't leave your pink plastic strip's hanging on native Bush and Trees. There is a clear walking track that a blind man can't miss. So why place your rubbish on bushes to guide you and just leave that rubbish behind is beyond me.🤪 We all want to enjoy nature without having it littered, thank you... 🤬
