Beautifully unexpected. Exposed lookout with magnificent views of the Flinders Ranges. About 20km from the Wilpena Pound Resort on the Bunyeroo Gorge road. The road is gravel, corrugated and rocky in places but does not require a high clearance vehicle. Highly recommended. The lookout is signposted on the crest of the hill. We were driving with our 4x4 with a RTT on it and was very smooth. We saw some small cars do it, but it may take some time then.
It’s quite close to the campground and if you’re coming from the east you can do it easily and fast, coming from the west and through the gorge it is bit rough.
