It is amazing to think one man came up with such a great idea and with the help of volunteers it is still going and also new ideas being acted on. The guide we had was friendly and explained things very well. Seeing the lobsters was special ... well a few were shy and hid ... but did leave a little bit of them showing so you could find them. The wall around the ponds was lovely and someone had gone to the trouble of making a little village out of wood and placing them under the beautiful trees. The lunch was delicious AND the view was so amazing. ...

We had no idea how much effort goes into keeping these amazing creatures alive and the age or length they could grow to until visiting this place. I would recommend anyone who visits tassie take the time out to travel here for a once in a life time experience. Why not Tay for tea and a sandwich as well overlooking the valley itās well...

The outdoor Avery looks amazing and will be fantastic once they are allowed to facilitate and home the endangered parrot. What an amazing bunch of volunteers shame we can't have more people like this...
