Magnificent views from the top of cape peron. The vivid red dirt against the turquoise waters and blue sky are simply amazing. A very bumpy ride in on soft sand for an hour. It’s no Sunday drive and the boy vines of the road in parts can give anyone with a sort back feel it a bit more after. Ok road as long as you know what to expect and don’t stop in the middle of the soft sand! Keep going! I don’t think we got over 60kms the whole time. Well worth the trip. Expect to share your personal space with a gazillion flies that have figured out how to get around fly...

So, today, we embarked on a thrilling drive to Cape Peron. We let the tyres down to a comfortable 25 psi and hit the road for an adventure of 55 kilometres. Picture this: loose, dry sand and clay salt pans stretching out before us. It was an incredible experience, and the views were even more breathtaking. Oh, and it was a bit windy today!

Our journey took us to Skipjack Point, a charming spot with a broadwalk and a lighthouse that gleams in the water. We had the privilege of spotting sharks and stingrays, which was an absolute...

Gorgeous place. Lower down you tyre pressure and 4H is good enough to get into the Cape on any day. Make sure you secure all your load before going in as the last few kms into the Cape can get very bumpy. We snapped our fridge tie down and roof racks were loose by the time we got into the Cape. There is a tyre pump and gauge to pump your tyres back up again on your way out. Be courteous and give way. Don't rush driving into the area as you never know when the wild life will jump out of...

Such an amazing place! Red dust meets the blue ocean. The drive on our way to Cape Peron was bumpy but we made it through without any issues. Me and my partner are beginners in fourwheeldriving but it was not as hard as we tought by lowering our tires to 20psi and having high clearance! There is a very bumpy part between cattle well and Gregories, just be mindfull of that! The rest of the track is bumpy but very okay for beginners (in my opinion).
