Eagle bluff is about a 20 minute drive out of Denham, between the town and Hamelin Pools. It is sign posted on the road so it shouldn't be too hard to find. The parking area is fairly large and it leads to a cliff side walkway. Like other places near here, there were a few friendly flies but they weren't as obvious on the walkway. The walkway overlooks the bluff and is quite high up. You can see Eagle Island quite easily. It traverses the cliff from one end to the other and loops back to the car park. You are able to see the water below and we were lucky enough to catch a few sharks swimming around in the shallows. They are hard to spot but doable. It is easier with binoculars if...

Eagle Bluff Lookout offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the rugged coastline and crystal-clear waters of Shark Bay. The lookout provides a perfect vantage point to marvel at the beauty of the surrounding landscape and observe marine life, including rays, sharks, and dugongs, in their natural habitat. Eagle Bluff Lookout is an amazing and spectacular sunset location! The boardwalk is great, with a 400 metre walk perched high above the shallow waters of Henri Freycinet Harbour. You can see two small limestone islands from the lookout, and it's a great place to view rare marine life. I was able to spot sharks, stingrays, turtles and more!

The views are breathtaking and you can really appreciate the beauty of nature here. The trail is moderately challenging but worth it for the stunning views! I would highly recommend Eagle Bluff Lookout as a must-see destination for anyone visiting Western Australia.

Don't just drive past! We stopped on our way past and was pleasantly surprised to see a bid hammerhead shark and 4 stingrays. We stopped by twice more and was not that lucky on the 2nd stop, but the 3rd we saw more stingrays. Apart from the wildlife the views are worth in itself. The carpark is the usual place to stop but there are 2 dirt tracks that any car can manage. The one at the top and one further down the hill you drove up with on the right hand side going down. We will definately stop by again, never know what you will see!
