The precinct is on the edge of the 2WD road in Francois Peron National Park. Like the other National Parks there is an entry gate at the entrance. The road isn't sealed but can be driven down in 2WD until the signage for 4WD only. The opening status of the park can be seen at the Sharks Bay Heritage and Discovery center in Denham. This is the only 2WD accessible area in the national park and is worth a stop. It consists of old buildings which show what life was like back in the day. the entrance building shows project Eden, the restoration of the natural area. There are quite a few tracks which lead to different areas including the hot tub. They all join up so you should be able to see it all. The hot tub area also has a large lawn and BBQ facilities. I enjoyed walking through the ruins of the old sheep yard. It was interesting to see particularly the wool station. We also got lucky and saw some emus walking around the area. i thought it was quite an interesting stop with quite a lot to see and...

This is one of the interesting stops made during a full day visit we made to Francois Peron National Park with Shark Bay Coastal Tours. What you find here is a historic sheep station in the southern part of the Park.

At the sheep station there are several points of interest. The sheep station structures are preserved allowing you to learn about this early important local industry. There are displays informing you of local wildlife and perhaps most interestingly, an old tub fed by hot spring water, which you fancy taking a quick dip and soaking in the hot, therapeutic waters for a few minutes.

We enjoyed the half hour or so spent at the Peron Heritage Precinct as part of our day tour within Francois Peron National Park. It was a quality...

Amazing place! You must stop over, have a look around the small museum there as well as the old buildings and most importantly the amazing hot tub. The hot tub is a hot 40 degrees so see how you go with staying in there. The water is from a bore and it comes out this temperature, it’s so amazing. We were here at 12pm no one was around we had a lovely lunch (BBQs and toilets are here) and soak. The drive in is slightly sandy but easy for a 4WD which we have, maybe even a 2WD if you are confident with these types of conditions.

Serenity now! A really interesting and free place to visit. Make sure you check ahead that you visit on the right day as they close for cleaning a couple of times a week. Easy enough to get to in a 2wd (just gravel road), you can see a small display of local animals, a historical shearing shed and pens as well as the hot tub. Everything is explained with plenty of signage everywhere. Listen out for goats all around. The hot tub waters were very warm - probably made d- high 30s. Wear dark bathers not your best whites! Enjoy a soak while listening to nature.
