Gooree Park Mudgee - Horse Stud, Cellar Door, Wine, & Farm Stays — Attraction in Galambine

We recently spent the weekend at Gooree Park and had an absolutely incredible time! Our experience was very relaxing, scenic and truly like no other.

Our place in Gooree was spacious, beautifully appointed, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring the property and relaxing during the day. Walking around the estate was one of the highlights — peaceful and picturesque with breathtaking views and a real sense of serenity.

The wine tasting was a standout experience. All the wines were excellent, and the staff made it even more enjoyable with their knowledge, passion, and warm hospitality. We also appreciated the wide range of activities Gooree Park had to offer — from spotting race horses and other animals, orange picking to stargazing under the clear night sky.

We were especially lucky to have Rafael take the time to personally show us around Gooree Park. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible stay — incredibly accommodating, informative, and genuinely helpful.

Gooree Park truly exceeded our expectations — it’s a hidden gem, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, relaxing and beautiful countryside experience. Three days wasn’t nearly enough, and I can’t wait to return to enjoy this phenomenal...

We had an amazing weekend at Gooree Park Stud Farm! The Airbnb was perfect for our group of friends — clean, cozy, and surrounded by stunning countryside views. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, with nature all around and plenty of space to unwind.

One of the highlights was visiting the wine cellar, which had a fantastic selection of local wines —Don Eduardo highly recommended. We also loved the on-site food truck — the food was absolutely delicious and added such a great vibe to the experience.

Getting to see the beautiful horses and other animals up close made it all the more special. It truly felt like a unique escape from the city. The hosts were welcoming and made everything easy from start to finish.

On our recent trip to Mudgee we decided to do the stud tour. What a wonderful informative afternoon we had. Our host Vikki had an amazing knowledge of the thoroughbred industry having been the Gooree Park midwife for many years. The property is extensive with 12000 acres that include stables, work areas, a trial track, accommodation and beautiful countryside. Anyone looking for accommodation should consider the cottages on the property which overlook the on-site training track. Included in our tour was a wine tasting where Tania (from the cellar door) sat us under the trees with a lovely cheese board which supplement the amazing Gooree Park wines. We have been members of wine clubs over the years but Gooree Park is by far the best. Great staff… great wine… what more...
