919 Wines — Attraction in Glossop

We visited the 919 cellar door over the March long weekend, the 2021 vintage was fermenting in the cellar door! Eric was so generous with his time and knowledge, he spent time showing us and telling us about the wine making process. The 919 wines are delicious, generous tastings poured for no fee and a good range of established and new varietals to suit every wine lovers' palette. First time here, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the fortified wines. Especially the Ruby as its flavour was very unique to me. The vintage port was easy to drink and not overbearing. The muscat was very present in taste as a good Muscat should be. My visit was entirely for fortified wines, so I haven't tried the reds and whites as yet, but if the fortified wines are any indication, I would be enticed to try them as well next time. A...

Wow, this is a hidden (?) Treasure! Unusual varieties for South Australia and outstanding examples of them too. The cellar door is personal, friendly and outstanding. We've been a few and this might just be the best. It was like dropping in on a friend and getting to taste their favorites. Dog friendly?
