Nov 2016 Gloucester Tops- what a disappointment. The walks were pleasant enough but lacked the good NP signage. The Gloucester falls could be heard but not seen but the other lookout was fantastic (a sign here would have been useful). We suggest you get in quick as the once pristine beech forests appear to be suffering die-back (we suspect Phytophthora cinnamomi). Will the park be closed to try to prevent it spreading? We intended camping at the Gloucester River campground but were appalled at the designated sites- either sloped or in the rainforest. The website states 'Pick your spot beside the flowing river and set up your campsite among the trees' which is blatantly incorrect as these spots were clearly designated for picnics. At $12/head/night we headed to Gloucester for the night with a boot...

One of the nicest places in Australia, a beautifully stunning place with waterfalls, swimming holes, rain forrest, bush walking trails, 2x4 and 4x4 trails, picnic areas, camping areas and it snows in the higher altitudes areas such as My Allyn.

You could explore this place for years and only scratch the surface of this amazing place. But treat the place with respect by not leaving rubbish around.

Amenities are around, but they are minimal, this is a national park not a nrma holiday park so go for a scout and research the best places to camp, swim, hike or explore first.

$12 per adult per night. $6 per...

Did a drive through 2 days ago. What an amazing place. Camping sites look excellent and all that we stopped at were nice and clean with excellent facilities. The campers we spoke to were all very happy with their sites and the park in general. Everything is well signposted but nevertheless don't go into the park without some form of map that you know how to read or operate well. A group of people approached us who were lost trying to find their booked campsite as all they had was a small out of scale map from a brochure. Bottom line lovely park. Heaps to see and do but do your research and...

This area of Australia is in my opinion and referred to by myself and many other as " God's Country" and when you spend any length of time up there you can understand why. The scenery is stunning and the raw beauty of the place is awe inspiring a true wilderness an area where you know that you are far from home and that you need to be prepared as the weather can change for the worst in a matter of minutes what ever the time of year and I think that is what is so special and loved by the people that visit.❤️

It is a long drive from Sydney to Barrington Tops NP but its absolutely worth it. Blue Gum Loop Track is a must do track; kids would love it. There are multiple sitting bench to have a nice, calm lunch or dinner or breakfast also BBQ spot. The Sound of Williams river flows through this rainforest is just mesmerising. This rain forest is part of Gondwana. This NP offers camping, the area offers fishing activities. #PureVision Photography By Sathya.

A beautiful escape from reality! With little to absolutely no reception and hours between the mountain and next service station. This place is a perfect retreat to nature. The roads are for the most part gravel and can be scary to navigate. But you can camp in several locations, trail blaze and even spot the occasional brumby. There are several lookouts. The occasional pit stops provided.the views are amazing!
