This area of Australia is in my opinion and referred to by myself and many other as " God's Country" and when you spend any length of time up there you can understand why. The scenery is stunning and the raw beauty of the place is awe inspiring a true wilderness an area where you know that you are far from home and that you need to be prepared as the weather can change for the worst in a matter of minutes what ever the time of year and I think that is what is so special and loved by the people that visit.❤️

It is a long drive from Sydney to Barrington Tops NP but its absolutely worth it. Blue Gum Loop Track is a must do track; kids would love it. There are multiple sitting bench to have a nice, calm lunch or dinner or breakfast also BBQ spot. The Sound of Williams river flows through this rainforest is just mesmerising. This rain forest is part of Gondwana. This NP offers camping, the area offers fishing activities. #PureVision Photography By Sathya.

A beautiful escape from reality! With little to absolutely no reception and hours between the mountain and next service station. This place is a perfect retreat to nature. The roads are for the most part gravel and can be scary to navigate. But you can camp in several locations, trail blaze and even spot the occasional brumby. There are several lookouts. The occasional pit stops provided.the views are amazing!

Take a 4wd and explore Barrington Tops. The main roads and tracks are pretty well maintained. Plenty of great camp spots with decent amenities. Magnificent views at every turn from trails and lookouts. Go in winter for the day or in summer for a long weekend. Many tracks are closed to vehicles during winter but there's nothing to stop you from hiking them. Easy access from either Gloucester or Scone.

Very beautiful spot to visit (5 stars), I've been coming here since I was a kid, but the road's need some serious attention. The local government and state governments have neglected it for way too long!! They need to invest in better infrastructure here, especially on the bends leading up from scone. In 30 year's hardly anything has changed. Great spot for the snow!! The family & I loved it.

We camped at Gummie Falls which is only a metre drop but a secluded place to go. Only suitable for 4WD as could be challenging to exit uphill if very wet. We saw wombats / holes and a lot of other wildlife plus some spectacular views. Even mid summer the water was icy. Allow plenty of time to explore as some lesser tracks are closed and most are quite rocky with the going very slow.
