Nothing really fascinating about this place, it says Lake Gnangara Park and you would expect few facilities, but there was none. No playground, toilet, bbq. However if you just want to walk around the sandy dune, spend some quite time beside the lake and enjoy the view, watch the sunset and take photos etc, then it's okay. it's lso open 24hrs, end of the road so you can have some away time.

Great playground for dogs! Could do with some signage so you don’t waste time, there doesn’t seem to be an obvious beginning and end, so it’s easy to walk away from an easy access spot and it’s quite a distance to go all the way round. Loads of flies, very warm shallow water, it’s like being in the Bush, but close to civilisation!

Best place to adventure! Safe for little and big kids, slippery fun in summer if you like to get muddy and we take the paddle boards in winter, plenty to do bird watching looking for bugs and shrimp or yabbies. Clean sand beach on one side and reedy on the other side, great for dogs. You feel like you are out with nature with out the travel. I go...
