📍Shipwreck Cove, Golden Bay Soaked up the sun (you never know how long it will last!) and headed to this park to run off some energy. Ps. I didn’t want the fight of getting my toddler to take off his helmet (IYKYK). With a big play area, and then a fenced off toddler area, there is plenty for kids of all ages (even a hilly bike path for those who love to ride their bikes!). Plus, nothing gets a Mumma more than excited than rocking up to a park and seeing it has a coffee van! 9-12 on Wednesdays and 7-12 Thursdays through to Saturdays, providing the caffeine and food that kept me going over the morning after a long night! #toddlersoftiktok #perthparks #coffeevan #perth #boymum

Fabulous spot to catch up for a park playdate, birthday or picnic. Oceanside, Shaded table areas, BBQ facilities, toilets, sand playground, large grassy oval, bike track, ocean viewing platform. Carpark and roads are great but be aware of them regarding younger children as this is not a gated park. Massive slide, pirate themed playground, perfect for birthday parties. Can bring own gazebo shade and set up closer to playground. Trees aren’t offering much shade.. recommend sunscreen and bug spray.

Played with my nephews here. A surprise beach side oasis for children and big kids alike

Partnered with a well maintained, generous strip of buffalo grass, this angled yet flat grassed area is suited for picnic or play.

The long concrete and bitumen walkway circles around next to the public toilets and carpark, near to the shoreline.

Shipwreck Cove, features a 360° stair climb with viewing platform, made with steel and jarrah.

The WA coastline in this area is swimmable (with the normal coastal tide precautions necessary to Australia's coastline...

5 min there and my daughter banged her head going up the big yellow slide. My 1st and last time there. Another mother said the kids get hurt all the time goinf up on that slide. There are sharp edges/beams along the stairs up, super dangerous. Apparently, kids get hurt there all the time. Extremely stupid set of stairs/ladder up the big slide. Very disappointing how something like that is made available to the public. Words of other mothers on the day: "They need to do something about that, kids get hurt...
