Goroke Silo Art — Attraction in Goroke

The silos here are beautiful featuring a kookaburra, magpie and galah. Very detailed. Off the main street but easy to find. The viewing area is neat and well kept with a small park and one or two picnic tables under cover. There were a few other people there including caravanners but there is no queuing and no-one collecting money. Some of the Silo sites have a donation tin or box but that's all. My only complaint for the Goroke silo art is that the fence that surrounds it makes it difficult to get a good photo. I know the intention of the fence is to keep people out, but it's easy to climb over, so it'll only work for honest people who respect the silo art. A wire fence would've done the same job, kept the rural look of the silos and not be so...
