The bottom of the falls is not accessible but there are some nice rock platforms where you can stop for a drink and a bite with a view of the falls. Falls are pretty enough and quiet compared to Mackenzie. However the road is very much unsealed and in rough condition. I'd avoid it in a 2WD (or go very slowly, and account for that when planning your trip)

We went around 9pm on weekday in January and it was bone dry. It it’s a short walk from the carpark so if you go during the winter/wetter months, I’d imagine it would be worth it. It’s about 8km of dirt roads to get there so keep that in mind. So here’s a photo of my car in the car park instead.

It was lovely once we were able to get close to water, but it did get quite rugged toward the end of the trail. We had to climb up and down large rocks to get a proper view of the water. The walk was not too long, though, it is quite far off the main road.

Mulitiered waterfall system consisting of more than half a dozen ledges, the water trickling down one over the other. On the ledges of the larger steps are paddling pools that you can sit in and let the water fall on your head while your feet dangle over the edge of the next step. Do it in reverse with head swinging from the bottom step and legs in the air with water cascading on them. Super refreshing! If you sit quietly, you are likely to see a few blue tongue lizards come out to bake themselves...

Holyyyyy. The road in is rough as guts. Fine for 4wd but corregated, washouts and ruts for days. Not suitable for low clearance or 2wd currently. Didn't even make it to the falls, had to stop 2km short as the rain has mushed the sandy road. No signal, no UHF reception and no way to get out if we got bogged. Hopefully gets cleared...
