Thank you to Gail and many others in Clunes who are keeping the History going! I moved there (as a teenager!) in the late 1980's and yet I never really knew what the History of this Building was. However, once you go into this building, you truly will find out much more about the Clunes History, than you ever thought you would! The Clunes Bottle Museum is the best place to go to, to see the vast collection of bottles, dating back into the 1800's Mining days. It is also an excellent place to go and find out more about the local History in Clunes. 100% Compliments again to Gail for showing me around this beautifully well-kept Museum. Everyone - Go take a look! You will be happy that you do!

What can I say about the fabulous Clunes bottle museum that hasn't already been said? Just, wow. From start to finish this museum boasts a massive, precisely curated bottle collection from decades, and even centuries, past, with concise and witty didactics to guide you along the way. At $3/per person, it is well worth the admission price and the friendly team at the front desk will cater to your every need. Bravo, Clunes, yours is the best and brightest bottle museum I have ever had the pleasure to attend!

Do you like bottles? Cos if you do, then this is the museum for you. Very quirky, informative and interesting. The museum is deceptively bigger than imagined, we were here for over an hour and there is a lot to look at. If you like history, then make sure to check this place out. Ps. Bring cash. It's like $3 to enter and the elderly lady expressed that it was easier for them.

A "must see" in Clunes. I had no idea how good this time travel experience would be. The venue itself is a former school building with one classroom still displayed complete with period desks and blackboard. The displays are clever and imaginative. Like entering Dr Who's phone box you will be perplexed by how this large maze like display fits into the building. Where do get such a wonderful experience for $3 in this day and age. Worth a visit to Clunes in and of itself but along with a local lunch, a creek walk and an exploration of the local historic sites it is a great day trip or...
