Loved this place! We had a lovely wine tasting experience with Mich, who was funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. She shared the history of the area and the winery and walked us through each one of the wines. They had a wide range of sparkling, reds, whites, and dessert wines, so there's likely everyone can find something they like. We liked most of their wines and we thought they were reasonable priced, plus they had a discount if you bought 6+ bottles. And they had a selection of very yummy snacks, in case you needed a quick bite. This is a great place and would highly recommend stopping by when heading up to the Grampians or on your way back to Melbourne.

Beautiful small winery about 10mns out of Ararat heading towards Stawell. Available for coffee..and such a view from the sun deck overlooking the vineyards..and if you are lucky, you can see them handpicking the grapes. Their "signature" Sparkling Shiraz is an absolute delight..you can do tastings..but pretty sure you will enjoy. How could you stop at 1 glass? Such an interesting story on the label about the concept of the winery and the back history. There are so many varieties to try..well worth a visit. Sometimes there is live music on a weekend..great to soak in the atmosphere..enjoy a light meal and compliment it with a delicious wine.

Completely overrated. $22 for their signature lamb pie with piddling amount of uncooked chat potatoes - still hard, and a pathetic salad. Yes friendly service but and I’ve never described a place as this before, a rip off joint. Either get the quality right or the price right if you want something to be your claim to fame.

Had a wonderful experience tasting the wines and chatting to the very lovely and inimitable Sue Ellen! She is incredibly friendly and extremely generous with sharing her knowledge of the various wines, winemaking and the background of the region. Definitely recommend their entire sparkling range (the 2009 Blanc de Blanc and 2011 Rutherford Sparkling Shiraz were particular standouts), I loved their 2017 Chardonnay (beautifully balanced mineral notes and Chardonnays are often a hit or miss for me), and a really solid range of reds (2013 St Ethels and the 2016 Reserve Shiraz were delicious, 2013 Mal's Block 8 was a particular favourite and at an amazing price point!). Definitely stop by and try a tasting! Also second another reviewer's comment on the terrine, which was...

I should have reviewed this winery soon after my visit which was one year ago. I recently remembered this winery when someone asked what was the worst winery I went to. I have been to many wineries all over Australia, in California and South Africa and know a good one when I see one. But this! The lady who served us kept pouring the wines only to my boyfriend who is a white guy. I had to ask her to pour me some for tasting each time. It was horrible but funny at the same time. She poured him wine and explained the story behind the wine while I was holding an empty glass, and before she moved on for the next one I had to ask for some wine for tasting. This went on for a while. Next time please don’t assume the dark-skinned people...
