Aquatic Paradise Park West — Attraction in Greater Brisbane

Recently, I was hungry for a gluten free meal and found the London Spuds food truck parked at Aquatic Paradise Park West in Birkdale. I've never been there before and was pleasantly surprised how great this place is. It is a lovely park to walk your dog by the water and they have an off leash area too. There is a carpark and there are covered areas with seating and public BBQ facilities to use and toilets. There is also a playground area for the kids.

I'm a Coeliac, and cross contamination is a massive issue for me at times. I've eaten London Spuds food before in the past, so did not hesitate to get a great hassle free feed, knowing it was safe for me. Everything on the menu is gluten free and they have a great rewards system where you buy 5 and the sixth one is free when you present your card.

I love the 'Adele' baked potato the best, 😋 😋 😋. Especially the pineapple and sour cream that smothers it beautifully. So scrumptious.

Best little getaway in birkdale. You can watch the boats going out and coming in, watch the sunrise or the sunset looking out over the water, good kids Park, good dog Park and a great little waterfront walk back to Beth Boyd park where there has been a Fabolous upgrade and a complete referboshment of the old Beth Boyd park and really bought it into the 21st century for the kids and families to have useful local recreational area. Well done Redlands council. Now just free up some more parking around the local boat ramp and stop with the penny pinching on the inadequate parking you have allowed to slip through the council budget . It's a great large space with plenty of room for all dogs in the designated off leash dog area. There are a few scattered bench seats around the park and only one under cover in the dog park area. There are other picnic tables undercover towards the playground and public toilet building. There are three dog water bowl/ taps around the park and access for the dogs to run down into the water (on high tide, otherwise it's mangrove mud) via a gap in the rock wall just near...
