Awesome walk on a hot day - the forest is noticeably cooler than Brisbane. The walk is super flat between Boombana and Jolly’s lookout. It is approximately 8km return trip with working toilets at the Jolly’s lookout end. The ones at Boombana have been closed for repairs since at least December when I was there last.
Lots of things to see on the walk - burnt out trees, snakes and goannas. Lots of butterflies today.

A longer walk to Jolly's Lookout is worth it especially if you're there early morning. Lots of interesting wildlife and flora. Plenty of shade to keep you cool.
