Beautiful clear water on a nice sunny day a week after rain lends to pristine photo moments and perfect swimming temperature, definitely on the chilly side! The walk to the hole is a mere 250m and any fitness level is able to do it. The track from the old saw mill to here though is getting eaten away by large 4×4's so wouldn't recommend bringing a little car out here or one you don't want to get scratched or dirty. No bins here so PLEASE pick up after yourself and take your rubbish with you!! Too many times I've been here to see empty beer bottles and cigarette butts or chip packets littered. Snakes are in the area so if you're lucky to have the place to yourself and you have an explore in the bush make sure you just stomp to make some noise and keep an eye out. A beautiful little spot reasonably close...

There's a carpark there (dirt road) and getting there can be a bit of a hit and miss - depending on the quality of the road - however the lack of any kind of toilet facilities (even composting) makes taking kids a bit more of a planned affair - especially with little bladders.
Overall, I'd recommend checking this place out if you are in the area - Personally I probably wouldn't go back until there had been some rain in the area as the mosquitos were definitely biting. Bring...

Highly recommend a four-wheel-drive as the road into D’aguilar National Park is unsealed with very loose stones and quite gravelly. There are toilets about 10 minutes away from these falls with a nice picnic spot. Bring water shoes as might help you navigate the sharp rocks underfoot.. you can explore a little further up from the falls and further down. Suitable for children 5 in my opinion as it’s fairly deep without too many places for...
