What a wonderful place to stay Be prepared for wind I love it , nearly lost my feet blown away but what brilliant experience The house was a shared arrangement for the kitchen, having 1 half of it for yourself, fully equipped including a slow cooker, which meant I could prep dinner in the morning & when back dinner cooked, fantastic. Own bathroom, bedroom with lounge , sharing only a corridor with other guests. BUT the best best thing is the other neighbours,Wombats a family of them that walk, eat & cr...... everywhere. So funny. There are wallabies & kangaroos around as well Check out my pics have many, many .... Road out to the lighthouse is a bit rough , dirt But 2 W can do it but check for rain. Had a ranger on duty if need , friendly, knowledgeable Only sad thing we missed out on was a tour up into the lighthouse- Covid spoiled that . Thank you National Park s& Fisheries, as we couldn’t have afforded to stay if it wasn’t for their special discount offered to stay at Green Cape Lighthouse & other National Park houses Hope they do it again next year 2021 Yes if possible would love to return There is so much to see & doing in the area, walks, history...

Stunning view of the lighthouse on a lush green cliff, against a backdrop of sweeping cliffs and ocean as far as the eye can see. From this point we also saw a pod of dolphins and a couple of whales swim by so keep your eye out. It's a special kind of wild beauty here, reminds me of some bygone era. One of my favourite lookouts in NSW. It's about a 20 minute drive off the main road onto a well maintained dirt road (well it was when we went). Perfectly suitable for a small car (that's what we used). There are guided tours of the lighthouse and I recommend looking into this in advance of your trip as it may be worth doing. I had no mobile service out there. There is an $8 park entry and you need to take the right amount of change for it or possibly book online in advance. I'd like to go back and stay overnight in one of...

Green Cape Lighthouse is a stunning place to go. It is a very long drive on dirt road (which a smaller car go at reduced speed) to the lighthouse. Parking is very accessible with turning bit too, the toilet is a drop dunny but very clean. Walking path is good, got scared a few times with lizards running across my feet but that's ok! The only other wildlife we seen was birds. Area around the lighthouse is maintained nicely. Very windy today, but the views were great. Also wheelchair, pram and those of the kind accessible. I recommend if your doing the lighthouse and Boyd's Tower on the same day, do Green Cape Lighthouse first as it's a long drive where Boyd's...
