A brief journey into Port Lincoln’s back country will bring you to a rural attraction with something for all the family.

The property encompasses 400 acres of pastoral scenery, just over a quarter of which is devoted to an animal park keeping kangaroos, koalas, sheep, dingoes, goats, ostriches and a host of bird species.

Every day you can see the koalas being fed at 13:00, and in season there are baby animals that kids can meet and cuddle.

Also geared towards families is a the 18-hole mini golf course, and you can pick up refreshments at the kiosk or make use of the free, shaded BBQ area.

For grownups, some 80 acres of this land is given over to a vineyard, growing Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

Benefitting from a Mediterranean climate tempered by the fresh sea air, these wines are produced under the Lincoln Estate label and can be...

Wow - what a great experience at Glen-Forest! My parents and I went on the Segway Tour and it was the best fun we've had in a long time! My dad is in his 70's and none of us had any experience with segways, but it doesn't take long to find your balance and then you're zooming around like a pro. Perfect for young an old (I think it definitely brings our the kid in everyone).

The business is a real family affair and everyone was very friendly. Sat down for a coffee and had a chat with some of them (farmer-to-farmer). Wonderful to meet a like-minded family with such a love for what they do.

Overall, so much to see and do - would be perfect for families. The property itself is gorgeous and you can really see how much effort and passion the family have put in to creating a space that everyone can enjoy. Well...

Visited here on the 15th Jan 24 and had a great day; family run, not busy, interactive with so many animals, the kids did the maze and we all did golf. Many good memories were made here. But what gets this place 5 stars in particular; the wine was really nice! I’m writing this review from the Barossa valley, where there are many wineries that charge you $20+ just to taste their (cheaper) wine, that still costs $40 or more a bottle. The wine at this zoo was better than all the wine I’ve tasted at this Barossa so far and A LOT cheaper! $60 for 3 bottles!!!??? AMAZING VALUE. We just paid $94 for 2 bottles from a reputable winery in the Barossa and …the wine was better from this Zoo. To all reading this you have to try this wine. Unfortunately it will also make you realise what a rip off the...

I recently visited this wildlife sanctuary as a wheelchair user and was disappointed with the accessibility. Initially, I was informed that the park was mostly accessible, but this wasn't the case. Unfortunately, they also do not accept the companion card for carers. The park has several challenges for those with mobility issues: excessive gravel, steps without ramp access, and hilly terrain. These obstacles made the experience rather difficult and uncomfortable for someone in a wheelchair or with a disability. I would advise others with similar mobility needs to consider this before visiting. The sanctuary would greatly benefit from improving its pathways and overall accessibility if it wishes to be truly inclusive.
