Easy access, lots of parking. Great for family walks or proper hikes. Unfortunately I didn't see any trail markers. No water fountain so make sure to take plenty. Toilets available but pretty gross. DOGS NOT ALLOWED

Great for climbing and probably best in springtime. Too hot in summer. But get in early to secure a good climbing and before the sun hits the wall and heats it up!

Beautiful place. Highly suggest taking a trail bike and exploring and riding the various trails that are off the main track.

One of the most peaceful places you can visit hardly any noise and you can relax, enjoy the scenery, even have a picnic lunch in the main section of the park with a well equipped barbecue area plus a convenient pool nearby where you can cool off during those hot summer days. At Christmas & New Year you can view the annual sky show ( fireworks ) whenever it is held from an outlook area near the midland side of the park just follow the road signs along the road to this area plus on a clear day ( no clouds, rain, fog etc ) you can see all the way across the suburbs to Perth itself, at night time you can also see the city lights and the view is absolutely spectacular indeed...

Mountain Quarry is a great place set up for abseiling and climbing. Good for groups, from beginners to intermediate. Organise own gear and training. (E.g. AdventureOut Abseiling Co.) Smaller walls to intermediate overhangs...and the Big Cohuna for the more adventurous. Shady spots for a picnic and parking close by. BYO everything and take home your own rubbish. No drinking water onsite. Drop toilets. BYO toilet paper just in case. Mobile phone reception can be patchy. Not really suitable for small...

An easy walk on a nice made road to a makeshift lookout which gives great views of the city skyline and Midland. Other tracks are interesting but have rough gravely tracks going downhill. So there's always a tough ending! Lots of interesting wildflowers and...
