Grong Grong Earth Park — Attraction in Grong Grong

Very overgrown and dry and dusty at actual campground. Obviously no longer maintained. Across the road is a beautiful park maintained by Rotary and green grass, clean toilets, hot shower, bbq but only able to park on the road. Pub across the railway good for a beer but behind the pub is dirt only...

An amazing overnight stop on a long drive, free camping, toilets and hot shower. You can leave a donation in the shop across the road. The only minor con was a train waking us up around midnight but still definitely worth it for a very cheap stay. Thanks...
