Once of the best hikes I've ever done... we arrived at the trailhead at about 7:00am, about 20 minutes before dawn, and made our way up... We reached the peak a little over 1hr later at a relaxed pace, meeting wallabies along the way. It gets a little scrambly at the very top, and takes some work on all fours for about one minute to reach the very top, and the result does not disappoint. The 360 views were incredible, as we sat and watched the sunrise fill the valley with liquid gold. In the distance is Lake Bellfield, Halls Gap's drinking supply, which we would canoe some hours later. The walk continues for another approximately 1.5 ks. Just be mindful that in summer or walker months, there maybe a a snake on the path sunning itself. The walk continues from there to Boronia Peak, the last 100mt is a bit of a scramble over rocks. But oh what a view. Fit people will take approximately 4 hr including a...
