Love the area. Great hunting spot Used to be a lot better before harvesting the forest started. Four years ago you couldn't travel over 30 kmh for frear of hitting some form of wild life. There used to be litterally 100's of wallabies on every corner, ecindas, wombats, deer and pigs bouding across the road. Looks like the logging trucks have killed all that. Hardly anything about these days a real shame. Ponadosa Park does offer camping spots. There are a couple of flush toilets there. Get used by the forestry trucks a fair bit these days, So no guarantee on the star of these toilets. Also the swamp in the middle is full of leeches which come out at night looking for blood. They end up all over and under your tent or swag. Just make sure you keep you inscet screen zipped up tight and have some citrus base spray for these little vampires. Once the logging stops hopefully it will return to how it was. No access to areas where harvesting is occurring. Plenty of firewood about but check if there is a Fire ban in place before going there. Parts of the forests there have been affected by fire already. Last thing we need is another set of fires occurring. The areas is full of forestry workers and hunters, including night time pig hunters and their dogs. If you don't like don't go there. After all the forest round this area are designated Hunting Forests. Keep you speed down. The wild life will appreciate it and coming round a blind corner with a B double full of logs with no place to go ain't no fun a slow speed let alone trying that 80-100 KMPH is probably gonna spoil your day. Not a place suitable to be playing rally car driver or motor cross rider hooning...
