Last weekend my partner and I had the pleasure of heading up to Bress to escape the hustle of bustle of Melbourne. If I could give Bress six stars I absolutely would. From the moment you step foot on the stunning property you are met with smiles and of course a glass of wine. Adam & Chris ran a pre-lunch tour which was a highlight as I got to educate myself on how my favourite wine (Cabernet Franc) is even made! After the tour we sat down for a stunning lunch paired with the most exquisite wines. We were seated next to two hilarious couples that made the afternoon even more enjoyable. The lunch itself was flawless. Beautiful enriched flavours, produced and grown from the winery itself. What other winery in Australia does that?! I mean c'mon. To finish the afternoon off, we bought ourselves a couple of bottles to have back home, reminding us of the beautiful weekend spent at Bress. xx We will be back soon! 💕 Jack & Angus

Fabulous morning at Bress. Was an unplanned and spontaneous decision to drop by after a weekend staying locally. We were greeted by the warm and wonderful Tim the winemaker himself, and enjoyed an exclusive hour tasting (NB. Go the $10 tasting, superb value. I would've been happy to pay $15). The history, the stories and the amazing wines. Yes we left with a good selection in the car boot. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

One of the best wineries i've been to. The Chablis was my favourite! I don't know if it's the weather but i've been enjoying the whites lately. If you're up for a red i'd recommend their Gold pinot noir. Food was amazing, well cooked and you can't get fresher than vegies grown on site. Welcoming team, perfect place to wind down on the weekend.

13 of us booked into a winery tour and a $60 set menu fur lunch today. Very informative wine tour however the set 3 course menu was disappointing although the food was great the main course of Ossobuco there were only 2 platters placed on our 2 tables to serve 13 of us and one platter serve of vegetables until we asked if there was going to be another platter brought out as there was very little meat on the platters to be shared by 13 of us. They brought out another platter of vegetables later on after some of us had finished and then as you thought the were going to collect out plates they asked if we would like more food. They should have placed 3 platters on our long table in the first instance. It was then noted that the table of 4 next to us had a similar sized platter of ossobuco served up to them. The beautiful sticky date pudding served afterwards nearly made up for lack of mains. They need to get their Portion...

Firstly, do not trust google maps to get you there, it got us to the end of a track so remote we were expecting a Wolf Creek scenario.

Secondly, you should definitely persevere and get here. We had the pleasure of being entertained by their head wine maker, Adam, while there. After a giving us a taste of freshly pressed wine that will make it way into bottles in a few months, he proceeded to give us what is easily the most entertaining and honest wine tasting experience I’ve had. Topped off with some tapas in the shade on a 35c day with one of their Chardonnays....
