A great 360° view of Harrington and its surrounds is available at Captain Cook Bicentennial Park. The info board is a wealth of historical information relating to Harrington and it's seafaring development. The compass plate and its relative distances to many locations both local and international shows a surprising aspect and orientation to the lay of the land.
Harrington itself is a quaint, sleepy seaside fishing village in the old area (CBD). Club Harrington is modern and has an awesome view on the southern side with large glass windows fronting the estuary and Old Bar on the other side of the Manning. Modern luxurious houses and Harrigan's Irish Pub located in the quays area to the south west of the CBD represents the newer developments.

Also some had caravans with the onsuite, younger ones had the glamour tents. For a more delux treat some had the 2 bedroom cabins, with a lounge 2 bathrooms and a deck with BBQ. So many activities swimming pool, bouncing area for young and old ,bikes. Large communal area with kitchen and large lounge area. Would definitely recommend...

It was quite cold and windy when we went, and it stated there were fossils embedded in the rocks, unfortunately there were no fossils that we could find, and it wasn't really a day for swimming. But the view is pretty good, and there is a cool cafe just near it...
