Returned here today as an adult to show my own kids the big orange and was surprised that I loved it just as much as I did as a child ❤️. Entry is through the winery and is a gold coin donation which goes to Telethon (so lovely to see that kindness). My kids loved the souvenir stress ball orange you could buy ($4.50). The view over the orange orchard was absolutely beautiful! I loved how upstairs there were old black and white photos of the orchard (especially the one of the trees when they were very young). It's an easy climb even for kids. There is a metal handrail all the way up the winding staircase and tall railing to keep them safe also. Upstairs the windows are secure (also clean and graffiti free which makes photos much easier). There is a small seating area before the path to the orange which has a disabled toilet. As a bonus it is very close to Logue Brook dam so if you're camping there it's a quick trip to have a look.

Big Orange Harvey is worth a visit to admire the orange orchard. We went up the iconic Big Orange Tower to have a panoramic view of the entire orchard. Donations are welcomed. The orchard does not offer fruit picking. We bought their Harvey orange juice and grape juice - so natural and fresh! They also offer wine tasting too.

This place is worth the visit, lovely staff, wine tasting and a little store to purchase locally grown wines. To walk up to the viewing level of the big orange it is a staircase, so not wheelchair or pram friendly. It did cost us a small donation to use. Such a nice view from the top as well.

It's a big orange, no, it's a tower! OMG! What a surprise! It looks just like a big orange though. Honestly! It's big, it's round and yes, it's orange. But when you get near it, surely a reward for your bravery, you will see it's on big metal legs, AND THERE'S A LADDER! Climb up and you will find its actually a tower! It has windows and everything! I know right? You are then subject to the mind splitting splendour of a view across the road and into the fields. It can get a bit warm inside as its made of metal and other modern building materials. Maybe bring some water.

I'm even going to go as far as to say that, even if you hate oranges, you will still have a moderately OK time.

There's a shop on site that sells booze too.

I'm off for some therapy.

IT'S...

Pam, the wonderful lovely lady behind the counter made this such a great experience. We had a little wander up to the top of orange and the views were nice, oranges were delicious 🍊lovely bits and pieces to buy in the shop, I bought a sweatshirt which is top quality but overall the main thing that made this such a nice experience was the warm friendly service we received from Pam. She gave us a bottle of grape juice 🍇 just for waiting for other people to finish their wine tasting as her hands were very full on the busy public holiday, we really appreciated this kind gesture....
