This is well hidden gem Lithgow.

A short (5-10mins) drive will take you to the top. ( 2WD friendly!) There is a nice covered picnic spot with tables and chairs before a walkway to the lookout. From the other reviews I have read, it seems like the walkway is built recently, making it more safer and easily accessible.

I have to admit this is probably one of my favourite lookouts I have ever been. Magnificent 360 view of the Lithgrow valley.

There is also another scenic spot (walk) where you enter into this little cave which gives you another perspective of the lookout.

A MUST visit spot if you are around that area!! Or add that to your blue...

GORGEOUS, PHENOMENAL, AMAZING, SERENE, MARVELLOUS and I could go on and on and on. Its a bit of a drive from Katoomba which is where we were staying but totally worth it. The road for the last few kms is a gravel/dirt road but a 4wd is not required. 2wd can get you there absolutely fine. Once you get to the actual lookout point, you will realise that its different from the other lookouts at Blue mountains as you can see the valleys from here. There was a nice breeze blowing when we went up there and we didnt feel the heat of the sun even in temperatures exceeding 30 degrees. Paved pathways + nearby parking makes it even...

Not sure where the great reviews come from, I wasn’t too impressed to be honest. It’s nice to drive up there and have a lunch with a view if you are in the area. If you decide to walk up, it’s an easy 2.5km walk up, but you have to share the unsealed road with the cars and they stir up the dust every time - I didn’t enjoy it much. Once you are close to the outlook there are some nice stone formations that you can explore but the actual lookout has now a viewing platform with a table (it looks like it was an open area before the platform was build). It’s nice on top but I might have expected too much based on...

Love the views. You get to see Lithgow from up here. There is a bench right at the lookout to enjoy a little picnic, if you don't mind others walking around you. It is literally at the lookout. You can stand on the table to get higher elevation. The downside is getting there and going back. The road isn't concrete. It is gravel and narrow. Maybe 10 minutes of slow drive up. You can do it in 2 minutes but there's a good chance you'll fall off the road and die. There is a cave-like lookout that has been tagged by most likely locals. Red and black paint isn't a good look inside the cave.
